Step by Step Instructions:

There is one single, continuous strap on a wildsole sandal.

It can be easily adjusted to fit every foot and is unisex.

Step 1

A line drawing of a foot wearing a wildsole sandal with adjustable straps, soil underneath, and a partially visible pant leg over the ankle.

Loosen the buckle and place your foot in the sandal to check how each section feels.

The toe section should be slightly loose with enough give that the strap can move slightly from side to side.

Step 2

Line drawing of a wildsole sandal with adjustable straps and a specific slot labeled 'slot 1' on the strap.

If the toe section feels too tight or too loose, take the sandal off your foot and either pull or push the strap through from slot 1 which is beneath the buckle.

Once you’ve adjusted the strap, place your foot back in the sandal to check the toe section again. Repeat this process until you’re happy with the fit.

Step 3

Next you can adjust the heel section in a similar way by moving the strap through slot 2 which is on the opposite side of the sandal to the buckle.

Again, repeat this process until you’re happy with the fit.

Finally, pull the strap across the ankle section so that it is tight and then secure through the buckle.

Step 5

Drawing of a pair of wildsole sandals with tools and a lighter, including scissors, a knife, and a lighter with a flame.

When you are happy with the fit you may be left with an excess length of strap after the buckle. You can trim this with a pair of sharp scissors and then seal the cut end with a lighter or flame.

Once all the adjustments have been made, the strap should feel secure but comfortable.

Putting on your wildsole sandals should then be as easy as slipping the heel strap on and off.

Fitting Problems

Your foot is too far back:

If you can feel the back edge of the sandal with your heel when walking, then your foot is too far back. To remedy this just make the toe section longer and the heel section smaller.

Your foot is too far forward:

If you can feel the front edge of the sandal, then your foot is too far forward.

To fix this simply make the heel section longer by bringing more strap through from slot 2 to the heel section.
