The revival of the wild otter in Britain is considered a conservation success after they nearly went extinct fifty years ago. Otters have long, slim bodies, short limbs and powerful webbed feet with sharp claws that they use to swim.

wildsole OTTER sandals are ideal for endurance events and offer the best grip in wet conditions.

They have a Vibram Tank SP sole which has an extremely hard wearing multi-directional tread. This provides wearers with an otter-like grip even on slippery terrain.

Finished with a quick-drying wildgrip™ slip resistant footbed to help stop your feet from sliding around within the sandal regardless of the weather.

wildsole OTTER sandals are available in two sole thicknesses - the RIVER OTTER is 4.5mm and offers the most minimal barefoot experience. The slightly thicker SEA OTTER has an 6mm sole to provide a little more protection whilst still allowing you to feel and grip the earth beneath you.

Straps: The UK made straps are constructed from twin stitched tubular webbing and are designed to be supple and comfortable to wear.

Easily adjustable: Our simple strap design uses minimal materials to provide excellent comfort and security and is easily adjustable.

Barefoot / Minimal: Thin, flexible, flat, zero drop and with no toe box so toes are allowed to spread naturally when weight bearing

Vegan Friendly: No animal products have been used in any part of these sandals.

Our standard sizes are suitable for most people however if you have checked our templates and find your feet are too wide or your toes hang over the edge we can make a custom size for you. Just choose CUSTOM SIZE when you order and we will be in touch. This service is extra and the price will be reflected when you select CUSTOM SIZE.

You will need access to a printer for custom sizes and crafting time may take up to 14 days.
